Inital consultation

Inital consultation

We will arrange a time for you to come into our studio to discuss ideas for your piece. We will ask questions and listen carefully to your answers as this will help us get to know more about your tastes and style and any ideas you have about what you envision your dream piece may look like.

Design approval and stone selection
Step 2

Design approval and stone selection

We will take the ideas from our initial consultation and produce a design or designs for you in either a detailed sketch in water colour or 3D computer generated drawing. This process will continue until you are completely happy with the design and a wax model can be produced so you are absolutely sure before the crafting process starts.

Design sign off
Step 3

Design sign off

Once you have selected your gems and you are completely happy with the final design and our quote to craft your piece we ask you to ‘sign off’ the design. Now the crafting of your piece will commence. This process is documented for you along the way.

Fitting
Step 4

Fitting

Before we set your gems we will invite you back to the studio for a final fitting, at which time we can make any minor adjustments if needed. We will then begin the final stage of the process setting your stones.

Valuation and Collection
Step 5

Valuation and Collection

Once the gems are set, and your piece has passed our quality control process, we will give it its final polish before having it valued for your insurance at an independent jewellery valuer.

Tax free shopping
Step 6

Tax free shopping

If you have chosen to take up our duty free offer your jewellery will be available for collection on departure at the international airport that you will be departing from New Zealand. The collection point is situated after the immigration desk. You will be required to show your invoice as proof of purchase.
